About Us
WELCOME TO MISS PRISS BRITISH SHORTHAIRS
A cat that resembles a teddy bear—this sums up the physical characteristic of a British Shorthair. Miss Priss Brits is a small TICA registered cattery nestled next to a private lake outside of St. Louis, Missouri. Our kittens are living in homes all over the United States. We have several celebrity clients. We are known for our highly socialized kittens raised in our home with obnoxious teenagers, loud children and 3 dogs. We specialize in the golden and silver varieties of these beautiful creatures. All of our cats are from the best European Champion and Grand Champion bloodlines. I have imported my females from famous catteries in Russia, Bulgaria and Turkey such as Viva Vogue and Polaris Catteries. We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our kittens. All of our cats have been genetically tested through UC Davis and negative for Feline
Leukemia. We test our cats yearly for Feline Leukemia. We have 5 generation pedigrees on our cats. Our kittens are sold under contract with health and genetic guarantees. They will be fully vaccinated according to their age, blood tested for FeLV/FIV, fecal tested for internal parasites and dewormed for internal and external parasites. They will also come with their TICA registration information and complimentary 30 days of insurance through Trupanion. Although we love and spoil each kitten we produce, the happiest days for us are when one of our babies is adopted by a loving and caring family. ALL KITTENS ARE SOLD UNDER CONTRACT WITH NO BREEDING RIGHTS.
Our prices start at 2800. Prices depend on pedigree, color and quality of each baby. We require a 750 nonrefundable deposit to reserve a kitten. Please be aware that we typically do not post pictures of our kittens until they are 3 to 4 weeks old. Our kittens are photographed in natural sunlight which can occasionally make their pupils appear uneven. You can follow us on Instagram or Facebook or subscribe to our YouTube Channel here to see videos of the babies prior to their pictures being posted. MPB is happy to meet clients at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. We are also able to meet clients that reside in the Chicago area halfway. American Airlines cargo, flight nannies and pet transport services are also easy and affordable ways to deliver your new baby. We are happy to assist you with these options as well. We cherish the relationships we have built with past clients or as I call them, our extended families, and because of this, we are happy to offer a $500 discount for repeat clients. MPB is also proud to offer a military discount of 10% to all veterans and active-duty service personnel. PLEASE NOTE: THE TWO DISCOUNTS CANNOT BE COMBINED.
